First of all you ought to know that your personal data are subject to the privacy law, and governed by the Italian law: Legge Italiana del 31 dicembre 1996, n° 675.
Particularly the section: art. 10 of the Legge 675/96 dictates the general law about the use of your personal data included in the web pages produced by DreamNet Ltd.

Which personal data are compulsory?
The most important piece of information we need is obviously your e-mail address, where the DreamNet Ltd. will send you the newsletter coming from the Sacred Convent of Assisi. Without e-mail there can be no service at all.
Some other important data you need to insert in order to get the newsletter service are: your first name (family name is not important), gender, country and age. These data are collected by DeamNet Ltd. just as statistical data.
DreamNet will not control the data, except the e-mail, in case of a registration for an information service; the address will have to be confirmed by the owner himself.
You will find other data on different forms on the web page, but they are not to be added if you do not want to.
Why do you collect my data? Will I receive advertising through my e-mail?
Your personal data are used just in order to send you e-mails coming from the Sacred Monastery in Assisi and from DreamNet Ltd. On these messages there can be sponsors connected to the newsletter with their own advertising. Such companies will never get to know your e-mail address, as well as the e-mails of newsgroups members.
Will my data be given to a third-party?
You data will only be given to persons working for our archive, always controlled by DreamNet.
In case of personnel working on our behalf, DreamNet Ltd. remains the only responsible person. DreamNet does not sell its e-mail lists coming from the web pages: sanfrancescoassisi.org and fraternityproject.com.
How do you collect data?
ABy different means: for example using forms filled by the users.
It is even possible for DreamNet to use informatics' programs communicating automatically (local PC to user's PC), and the user will not realize it.
Such programs are called cookies or web beacons, they are not viruses, they do not damage the computer connected to the web, they do not retrieve private information, and they are mostly used to customize web pages and to ensure the connected user's privacy.
The use of this program can anyway be prevented by the user himself, thanks to simple navigation options, already present in the computer.
Where do you keep my data?
On a database in a server connected to the web page, protected by two alphanumeric sequences (user name and password), that only the DreamNet operators know. We also have copies of this database on magnetic and optical media, as well as on paper. All the information is kept in the DreamNet offices.
What rights do I have?
You can decide anytime to stop receiving messages sent by DreamNet. You have always the right to have your personal data cancelled or modified.
